Greetings to All on my On-line Community:

I want to start of by sending our deepest condolences to the Roy Benn Family. Roy a native of Trinidad died this past weekend, and this lost have left our Community in shock. If you know Roy you will remember him always busy with his promoting. He has been involved in promoting all kinds of music in Washington DC. My first introduction to him was many years ago when he was promoting Go Go Music and Chuck Brown. His company called "Streets of DC", along with his brother's (Phil) company "Streets of NY" has been responsible for the street promotions for many clubs and events here in this area and NY. He has been a very special part of the Kubunja family (owners of the Kili's Kafe) and has done a lot to promote their old and new establishments. We will miss Roy Benn! I THINK Kili'S KAFE IS HAVING SOMETHING IN HONOR OF MR. BENN. GIVE Kili's A CALL FOR INFO. 202-232-1562

The weather this past weekend in Washington DC/Maryland/VA was wonderful. As predicted it was real nice and warm. For me it started out nice because I was chilling at home in front of this computer with my usual Heinekens feeling real good. It's very rare for me to drink at home, but I figured I would try something new for a change. Anyway, my wife and I decided we would check out Kili's Happy Hour, and it was pretty good. The Honey/ginger chicken wings on the buffet was very tasty. We spent several hours chilling, sipping on some Heinekens, and chatting with the owners of the establishment, who by the way, are excited about having the opportunity to entertain and cater to all of you in the Community once again. They seem to appreciate very deeply the support you have given them for the many years they were in business from the 80's to mid 90's, and want you to know they are back!!!!.

After leaving Kili's we decided to roll past Crossroads due to the fact that it was Trinidad's Carnival Weekend, and Crossroads was having a Carnival Celebration and had invited Guest DJ Andy Mix once again for the evening, as well as other DJ's such as Sprang International's Crew (The New Generation), and the Muzik Nashun Crew. We rolled in just in time for Andy's set, and unfortunately to many other worries in the place.

Something for our youths

Sunday, February 29^th, 2004 at 10:45am. The event is a Youth Service, to be held at the Sharon Bible Fellowship Church, located at 6117 Seabrook Road, Lanham, Maryland 20706 (301) 429-3345. The Pastor is Rev. Victor O. Kirk, Sr. The service will be Featuring “CEE” (Corey Eudell), Total Love for Christ (TL4C), Radical Dancers for Christ (RD4C), and Special Guest “TRUTH” (Minister Emmanuel Lambert. Jr.). There is no charge for this event! (A free will offering will be collected).

Featured Vocal Artist Background:

CEE and TL4C are Gospel/Christian Rap artists, based out of the Sharon Bible Fellowship Church in Lanham, Maryland and they have released their first Maxi CD on January 25, 2004.
