Greetings
On-Line Family!

Today,
this Valentine's day celebrate the spirit of
love!
Express and show that special someone in your life or the
special people in your life that you love and care for them
dearly! Happy Valentine's Day to all of you our on-line
family!!!
As you know
it's Black History Month - it's time to celebrate, acknowledge,
honor and memorialize our leaders, inventors, discoverers,
athletics, and even entertainers who have made exceptional
accomplishments and contributions throughout our history.
What can I
possibly share with you this month as we celebrate black
history, when one of the most important/historical thing in
black history is currently taking place in this country?
I don’t know about you, but we (Todd and I) are very
happy and proud to see these remarkable times!!!
Senator Obama winning all these primaries and caucuses is
very historic. We as a family have come together and are showing
our togetherness and unity by participating and voting in these primary
elections and caucuses for the Presidential candidate who we
feel (1) is very qualified; (2) is an exceptional man and
candidate; (3) who is very inspirational; (4) has the solutions on all the
important issues and policies; and most importantly (5) will
change America and take it to the next level.
How wonderful, and the unity is great to experience as well as
the winnings! Not to mention the special feeling everyone
expresses they feel deep within their soul because of this extraordinary
thing that is taking place in this country. I am so completely out of control
about what is taking place in America, and so full of elation.
Maryland Washington DC, and Virginia, as well as the states that
voted over the past weekend (Primaries: Louisiana and Virgin
Island, and Caucuses: Maine, Nebraska, and Washington), you did
it! All races, all nationalities united...we all did
it! You realized how important this is and came out in
large numbers and took Senator Obama to the next level in this
race. How historic,
don’t you agree? We are certainly making a difference and
clearly we are seeking change!!!!
Now, the struggle is far from over, because the fight has really
just begun. We have
a few more important primaries and caucuses to go and I strongly
feel the momentum, and the winning will not stop.
Senator Obama will do very well in those states and
follow the successful path he is currently on with the support
of all of us.
As of today the total Delegate count per CNN is as follows: Senator
Obama - 1,253 (1096 Pledged & 157 Super Delegates) and
Senator Clinton 1,211 (Pledged 977 and Super Delegates
234). Not bad for Senator Obama being the
"underdog", huh? He is now ahead, but the
momentum must continue and he must continue winning with high
percentages to stay ahead as the front-runner and stay on the
path to the Presidency.
Everyone
is reporting and is very concerned about the Super
Delegates since they can make a difference choosing who will be
the Democratic Presidential Candidate. However, I strongly
believe they will listen to the people of America and do the
right thing (as they make their choice). No one wants a revolution, but I think one will certainly
occur especially seeing the momentum, admiration and love the
American people are showing for Senator Obama, as they vote for
him in these primaries and caucuses which is taking him over the
edge with the high margins of his wins. Surly the American people want him to be
nominated as the Presidential Democratic Candidate.
Well, on to
the next round of caucuses and primaries taking place this
Tuesday the 19th - the Hawaii caucus and the Washington and
Wisconsin primaries. I wish the Obama camp lots of
luck. To all my on-family in these states, please go out
and vote and help continue making history.
You know
it's funny that I am still getting unpleasant e-mails about who
I am supporting for President, and also within the e-mails lots
of comparison between both Democratic candidates, and lots of talk about how
great a President Bill Clinton was to us (as they say).
However, I will make one more statement about this and then let it
all be. I
personally really have nothing against Former President Bill Clinton
or his wife, I only question Bill's personal character
though. Furthermore, I don't feel I must vote for his wife
because he was such a "fantastic" President, as many
folks feel they need to do. As I stated
some e-mails ago..."Bless Senator Clinton's heart" I know
she has been working hard as she campaigns for the nomination of
President, and these past years have been quite tough for
her (after all she had endured during her time in the White
House.) I do admire her, but for me it is time for
a Change in this American Government and country, an overall Change -
something/someone absolutely new we can trust, and who will work
for us the American people. Senator Obama represents all
of this for me and for many of us...Obviously!!!
In
closing I implore you to go out and vote!!!!
