Greetings To all among our on-line family:

Another week I’ve received lots of correspondence regarding my commentary on the elections. Thanks to all of you for reading, and most importantly responding with your thoughts. Surprisingly, it seems many of you share my feelings and wishes to join together in an effort to make some changes.

This week I won’t “rant and rave”, or even get “deep” about the issues that trouble me, I will ease up a bit and focus on the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and the events surrounding it. I hope you all are not as unprepared for Thanksgiving as we are; it just seemed to have sneaked up on us. Anyway, being that it falls on Thursday, and Friday is just another day to chill, I think I will not prepare my weekly e-mail next week, so I will take this time to remind you about the events taking place in and around our area over the holiday.

Well, I think this is it for the events over the holidays, but before I close I want to share a message from Mrs. Samuels a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Working Women's Committee regarding their last week fundraiser.

The Trinidad and Tobago Working Women's Committee extends its deepest appreciation to the many individuals who came out on Sunday in support of the "Sunday Morning Brunch".

This event was a success and we owe all of our successes to you, the Community. We would like to thank all who made a contribution.
