WHAT'S HAPPENING by Susan Mangatal Greetings
To all among our on-line family: This weekend it's all about Miami Carnival! We received lots and lots of information from folks, but because of the magnitude we just didn't have time to post them. Sorry guys!!! To find information, just hit up the websites of both Miami Carnivals. www.browardcarnival.org and www.miamicarnival.org. The most important event that everyone must support is the ICE Entertainment, New York United and CaribCrew "Stamina" Last Lap party that is taking place at the Marlin Hotel in Miami Beach on Sunday, October 10th. Click here for the Press Release on this event and information on Trinidad's IslandEvents Collaboration to Showcase T&T Carnival 2K5 Presentation, Moulin Rouge: A Tribute To Josephine Baker. (IslandEvents, the creators of last year’s popular Poison section, Jungle Fever)
Additionally, this weekend while in Miami you must support Baltimore Md/Wash. DC's own DJ Smally The Golden Touch at the Broward Carnival taking place in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida at Lockhart Stadium. Smally will be playing on the KaisoBoyz Truck - MUDDERS NATION which is the only real mud mas in Florida.
