SEASONS GREETINGS
what a year it has been! Fascinating, exciting, remarkable,
historic and sadly poignant. We endured the
destructive hurricanes, earthquakes, and most importantly
the financial crisis and foreclosure catastrophe.
2008 is one we will never forget especially because of the
failing economy and all the bailouts for the "big
companies and financial institutions." Indeed,
we will never forget the elections and the 44th President
being elected...the first African-American unanimously
elected as President of the United States. Oh, what a year it was indeed!!!
Now
that the New Year is upon us, most of us should almost be
completed with jotting down our goals and resolutions.
You must know how very important it is for us to do this,
because it becomes a blueprint for us to follow throughout
this year.
Some
important things to follow for this New Year:

Let this year be better than all the others, and do
everything in your power to accomplish all your
resolutions. Actually, make this year THE ONE
that you accomplish all your goals!

Pledge to do some of the things you've always wanted to do
but couldn't find the time or the funds.

Seriously STOP with the HATING and begin LOVING and
SUPPORTING unconditionally.

Drop an old grudge!!! Call that friend you have had
that old grudge with and let them know that you will let
"bygones be bygones", and you hope they will do
the same. Replace that grudge with the pleasant
memories you built with that friend.

Stop rivaling your associates. Be self-determining
in working toward and pursuing your aspirations...YOUR OWN
ASPIRATIONS! Moreover, devise what you are working
towards "a work of genius!"

Be comfortable "in your skin". Love
yourself...Love who you are...Love what you are and what
you do. Don't be troubled about what others may think
of you, only worry about you - because "IT'S ALL ABOUT
YOU", and all about the positive things you do.

In these difficult and troubled times focus on keeping
your head up. It may be complex for you to do so,
but you must remember "life is like a roller
coaster, filled with ups and downs."
Therefore, you must hold on during all the twists, turns,
and downs, and be mindful that the ups are forthcoming.

Vow not to make promises you don't think you can keep.

Express your feelings freely and openly, and don't be
afraid to say the sweetest words "I LOVE YOU"
more often.

Resolve to make at least one person happy every day, even
with just a smile.

Make this year "The year of Change"!
Continue with what was driving many of us during
the 2008 elections...Change, an overall change in every
aspect of our life.

Vow to take someone else along with you once you have
accomplished your goals. Give them a helping
hand...boost them up so they can become as successful as
you have become.
As
usual, at this time we have no idea what this New Year
will bring, but we know WHAT WE HAVE TO DO and MUST
DO! Successful (overall and financial), virtual
prosperity, progressive, amazing/mind-blowing, fun-filled, glorious
and victorious are some of the overall things we intend to
accomplish. However, we are anxiously looking
forward to seeing what comes to light in 2009.
For
the time being however, we just would like to take this
opportunity to thank every one of you who has visited,
read and contributed to our weekly e-newsletter over
these past twelve months, and most importantly throughout
these past 6 years. It truly has been a
pleasure. As the New Year progresses, may it open up for
each and every one of you (our on-line family) more
opportunities, lead you onto the path of continued
success, happiness and Prosperity with new hopes, new joys
and new beginnings.

We
wish you a very Happy 2009 and for us it's truly a
pleasure to say THANK YOU for all your support, and for
you being a part of our on-line family. You are
indeed the foundation of our success... Thank you Very
Much!!!

To
those who have done business with us throughout the
years, we hope more opportunities open up for us to
continue doing business together.

On
a somewhat more personal note 2008 was a very busy
one. I
found that there were not enough hours during the day and
night to
complete the items I had listed on my daily "To Do
Lists." Which of course, completely
stressed me out throughout the year. Some goals I
set, I had to put aside because of the craziness and
hectic-ness. The many sleepless nights
of working...working...working, reflecting on topics for
the weekly e-newsletters and writing...writing...writing; I certainly do vow to
eliminate those sleepless nights for 2009 and spend more
time working on the musical side of Arious
Entertainment.
As
for family, we saw the passing of two close relatives,
which brought the memories we hold dear for them to the forefront,
and the thoughts of the family and of the homeland brought
to the top of our list. I do pledge this year to
keep family traditions alive, because family is
everything, be it personal or an extended on-line
family/community such as we have here with you our on-line
family. I am sure I am not alone in counting amongst
my closest friends people I converse with on a daily basis
and yet have not met in person. It's truly amazing
having this great means of communication and keeping alive
some very nice relationships and friendships with our
on-line family. This
I love dearly and won't trade for anything.
My
husband Todd is working on some fascinating new projects
and he is excited about them. I am certain this
year he will be back doing some writing for our
E-Newsletter and on www.MyCaribbean.us
social network. On www.MyCaribbean.us
there are no limitations, so he can be as controversial
as he wants to be and is able to really speak his mind
without any boundaries or distractions. Of course, you will be
able to respond and challenge him on his somewhat controversial
views, such as what he calls "America is
experiencing a mental recession" (hum...yeah right
I'd like to hear his thoughts on this one) or is it
wrong to be an elitist? LOL...Indeed, he will be controversial
this year!!! LOL, but I know it will be entertaining and
I can't wait!
With
all this being said, I just want to close by saying have
an incredible year, and again we wish all of you a happy
new year and a prosperous 2009.
